Self-Care Sunday - Weekly Movement, Pranayama, Meditation, Connection
Ananda is a Sanskrit word which represents one's highest form of being; Bliss. Breathe Ananda NZ is our well of Bliss.
These weekly containers are a place to come together & master tools & ancient knowledge to thrive in our lives. The impetus in these journeys is Pranayama - the ancient, yogic science of breath mastery resourcing us to control & expand life force energy. We will follow a wave of energy in each container - providing a complete energetic (nervous system) reset whist leaving attendees equipped to shift their physiology in the moment.
WHAT TO WEAR/ BRING: Comfortable loose fitted clothing, drink bottle, eye pillow (optional). Yoga mat, cushion and blanket (we have some spares you can borrow). Walking shoes/ other attire necessary for a nature walk to integrate after the session.
WHAT TO EXPECT: This session is suitable for all levels. We'll start with an introduction, outlining the theme and structure; warmup, set intention, energise, cleanse, relax and then have a short meditation/ integration.
In this 6-week block we will be utilizing somatic movement to prepare the physical body followed by 3 breathing techniques; Chit Shakti Prananyama(energize), Saucha Pranayama (cleanse) & Pranava/ Ugdeeth Pranayama (relax), we will end each session with a loving kindness meditation.
EXCHANGE: Dāna. Each place is paid for through the generosity of another which helps us reach more breathers & keep spreading the Bliss far & wide.

The attendance of each breather has been paid for by the Dāna of another member of the Ananda Tribe.
