This month sees the festival of Guru Poornima. Guru Poornima occurs on the full moon in July. The festival celebrates the masters and teachers who uplift humanity from material consciousness to Divine consciousness.

How do we create harmony? Sai gives the answer that it begins with the inner harmony, the alignment of though, word and action. We live in a world where people strive for peace.

Grace comes to us in many forms and from many directions. Often, we don’t recognise it as Grace until we have been through an experience wherein we know that we have been graced. But Grace is not only inevitable within everything that we experience, but it is also inexorable in that it will not cease until we find the place in our heart where we can surrender.

Who can describe the grace of the Guru? Their presence in our lives brings us into contact with the eternal, formless essence of who we really are. They are a celebration of the infinite in finite form. When we celebrate them, we join in that celebrative communion with the Oneness within us, that reflects the Oneness in all.

Who is the Master? You think you have mastery over the mind, but the mind is a trickster. If you focus only on the mind you will come unstuck. When you go beyond the mind – to the heart, you find that the mind has no choice but to follow you into the silence. Thought cannot erase thought. But, within the silence, Truth is revealed.

The river frisks and sings as she rushes on her journey. She carries with her the wishes and prayers of thousands who visit her daily, drinking from her, dipping in her purifying waters, and setting alight tiny lamps of ghee and faith.

My most powerful experiences of reality have been revealed through the grace of nature. I have learnt that the moment we move deeply into awareness of the stillness and peace available in nature, it becomes our teacher.
