Yoga and Meditation

“Foster the tiny seed of Love that clings to “me” and “mine.” Let it sprout into Love for the group around you and grow into Love for all humanity. spreading its branches over animals, birds, and those that creep and crawl. Let that Love enfold all things and beings in all the world.

Proceed from less Love to more Love, narrow Love to expanded Love.”

–         Sathya Sai Baba

Creation and Consciousness are One. Consciousness pervades all creation, and creation is an expression of consciousness.

The founders of Sacred Earth aim to establish a spiritual and cultural entity that will reflect and enhance the role of spirituality in caring for the world, its inhabitants - animals, plants and human; and Papatūānuku (Mother Earth) herself.

We inherit the condition of the natural world from our Ancestors, we interact with the natural world, gifting the results of that interaction to our Childrens’ Children.

Sacred Earth is founded on the fundamental principle of kaitiakitanga (stewardship) of the land, its waters, and its airs; its inhabitants, its mauri (life force) and wairua (spirit).

Sacred Earth is established to manāki (embrace) all beings in the spirit of unity.

“It will be our cultural practices – how we do things using ancient and adaptable intergenerational knowledge – that will shape and reclaim our natural world and replenish the mauri [life force] of our people, taonga [treasured species] and biodiversity.”

-              Harina Rupapera – Te Arawa
